Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering Laboratory is located on an area of more than 1500 m2 and research and application studies are carried out in these laboratories. The Soil Mechanics Laboratory has the capacity to make standard and advanced tests of modern soil mechanics and soil dynamics at international standards. In the laboratory there are computerized tensile and deformation controlled triaxial pressure, dynamic triaxial pressure, simple shear, hollow shear, shear box, oedometer, Rowe cell, permeability tools and dynamic probe set.
